Terms of use
Effective 27 October 2026.
These terms explain your account, what you buy, how to use ExamATP and your rights if something goes wrong. Read them with our privacy notice and refund policy.
1. Who supplies the service
ExamATP is operated by ReplorAI (Pty) Ltd, a private company registered in South Africa. Our contact and business details, including the address for legal documents, are on the Contact page.
ExamATP is an online study service operated from South Africa. Your location may give you additional mandatory rights, including the Australian consumer rights described below.
2. Educational use
ExamATP is an AI study assistant. You can ask educational questions, upload supported exam papers or images, work through explanations, and request lessons, diagrams and interactive study activities. You can download supported lessons as PDFs. It supplements your teachers, textbooks and official assessment materials.
Use ExamATP for learning and exam preparation. It is not a school, accredited qualification or emergency service. AI can misunderstand requests or produce unsuitable content.
3. Eligibility, accounts and guardian permission
If you live in or access ExamATP from the United States or its territories, you must be at least 18 to create an account, use interactive study features or buy a plan. Parent or guardian permission does not override this US restriction. You must also be legally able to enter this agreement under the law that applies to you.
Elsewhere, you must be at least 13 to hold an account or use interactive study features, with the guardian permission below for a learner aged 13 to 17. Children under 13 may not use those features, including through an adult's account. ExamATP supports school and tertiary study; a school grade or institution does not establish age. Visitors may watch the public demonstration without an account.
- Sign in with Google or Microsoft. To ask questions or upload work you need an account, a current agreement and an active plan with enough allowance, except for the free first answer described below. Visitors may read the example conversation when available.
- If you are 18 or older, you agree for yourself. Where an account is available to a learner aged 13 to 17, their parent or legal guardian must personally give permission for the learner's information to be processed and assist them in accepting these terms. They must also pay for or approve each purchase. A learner may not declare permission for the adult, and an unanswered account email is not consent. Read Parents and guardians before signing in.
- Give accurate age and consent information. Do not complete a guardian declaration on another person's behalf. Our hosting provider may supply an approximate country from your connection to help apply the age rules. If that country is unavailable, we require an adult age declaration before study use or purchases. This check does not verify your residence or age. A different connection or form answer does not automatically remove a recorded US restriction. Contact us about an incorrect location or age restriction, including when you turn 18.
- Your account is for your own study. Keep your provider sign-in secure and report suspected unauthorised access. A guardian may help a learner manage the account.
Existing account holders must confirm their age and accept these terms before further study use or purchases. An eligibility restriction does not erase an earlier purchase or its rights. Contact us about a paid plan you can no longer use, a correction, your records or account deletion.
4. Prices and what a plan includes
Where available, a verified account may try one free answer to a typed or pasted question of up to 2,000 characters. The offer is limited to one claim per person and browser on a device, subject to abuse checks and available capacity. Signing out, switching accounts or deleting a chat does not renew it. Uploads, additional tools and follow-up questions require a plan. No payment card is required for the free answer and it does not start a subscription. An interrupted answer may be retried once with the same question in the same chat, within 24 hours.
Each plan is a one-time purchase for one calendar month from activation, including the study allowance shown below. It does not renew automatically. Prices are in South African rand (ZAR) and include any applicable taxes and fees we charge. The checkout price is the total we charge. If your card uses another currency, your card issuer converts the payment and may charge currency-conversion or international transaction fees.
| Plan | Price | Monthly allowance | Straight away |
|---|---|---|---|
| Study | ZAR 99 | 300 usage units | 50 usage units |
| Plus | ZAR 149 | 450 usage units | 75 usage units |
| Max | ZAR 299 | 900 usage units | 150 usage units |
See pricing for plan availability and file limits.
- Preparing papers, answers and Teach me lessons share your study allowance. Usage varies with the work involved; a unit is not one question. Larger tasks may require approval of a maximum unit quote. Your balance and usage history show charges and restorations.
- When a month starts, you can use the units shown under Straight away at once. The remaining units unlock at 09:00 SAST (UTC+2) on the next South African calendar day after activation. This protects accounts against card fraud. It does not shorten your month, which still runs one calendar month from activation, and no units are lost.
- You can buy another month of the same or a smaller plan once your current plan ends. If you use up your allowance before then (fewer than 5 units left), you can upgrade to a bigger plan straight away: it starts when it is paid for, as a new calendar month, and any units left on your earlier plan do not carry over. Top-ups are not available. Contact us before paying again if a payment is unresolved.
- New AI work stops when your allowance runs out. Existing chats and saved lessons remain readable, subject to the retention periods in our privacy notice and any account restrictions.
- Unused monthly usage allowance expires at the end of that month and does not carry over. This does not override any statutory entitlement to a longer validity period, cancellation or refund. Study units are not transferable or a cash balance.
Your receipt records the offer and terms that apply to your purchase. Later changes do not remove rights attached to that purchase.
Invitation rewards
When study plans are available, a friend who has never paid for a plan can use your invitation link before their first purchase. Once that payment is confirmed, their first paid month receives 15 extra usage units and you earn 30. Signing up alone does not award units. You cannot invite yourself, each account can qualify through one invitation only, and later purchases do not repeat either reward.
Your first 10 qualifying referral payments in any rolling 30 days earn you units. Further referrals in that window still reward the friend, but do not earn you a reward later. Your units are added to your current paid month. If you have no paid month, they wait for your next purchase. Earned units awaiting activation are shown in your invitation panel. Once added, promotional units expire with that month and do not carry forward or reduce the price of another month. A full refund or a payment dispute resolved against us removes rewards from that payment that are still pending or unused.
5. Checkout, activation and refunds
Review the plan, total price and start information before continuing. You can go back and correct your selection or leave before paying. Yoco handles the payment methods shown at checkout; we do not receive your full card number or card security code. We activate purchases after confirming payment. Keep your payment reference and receipt; receipts can also be opened from your account's payment history.
Continuing to payment requests activation after payment is confirmed. Your cancellation and refund rights are explained in the refund policy. You can save or print these pages in your browser and request a transaction record from us.
6. Your materials and generated work
Upload only material you may lawfully use. A paper may belong to its publisher, examination body, school or author; uploading it does not transfer that ownership to you or us. Remove unnecessary names, ID numbers, marks and other people's personal information before upload. Do not upload confidential exam papers or material obtained unlawfully.
You retain any rights you hold in your material. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive permission to store, process and display it and send the relevant content to service providers to deliver your requested study features, secure the service and resolve support issues. This permission lasts only as needed for those purposes and any lawful retention described in our privacy notice; it does not transfer ownership to us. We do not use your study content to train our own models. The privacy notice explains provider processing, access and retention. Keep your own copy of uploaded work.
You may use the answers and lessons for your own study, subject to any rights in the original materials. AI output may be similar to other output, contain errors or include third-party material. We do not promise that it is unique or eligible for copyright protection. ExamATP's branding and software belong to us or our licensors. We are not endorsed by an examination body merely because you use one of its papers here.
To report an infringement, use Contact and identify the work, your authority to act, the location of the disputed material and how we can reach you. We may restrict access while reviewing the complaint and give the affected user an opportunity to respond.
7. Responsible use
Follow your institution's academic integrity rules. Do not use ExamATP in a test or examination without permission or submit generated work as your own where prohibited. Do not use it for harassment, unlawful content, unauthorised access, malicious uploads, resale or attempts to evade security, payment or usage limits.
Study help can include full worked answers to genuine practice tasks and past papers used for revision. We do not complete assessments that require your own work. For those tasks, we can explain concepts, work through a different example or offer feedback within the assessment rules. Where AI assistance is permitted, those rules determine the help we can provide. A task's date or repeated requests do not override its restrictions.
Do not use ExamATP to create or seek child sexual exploitation material, credible threats, instructions for serious harm or other illegal content. Legitimate learning about sensitive topics remains allowed. If you encounter unsafe content, use Report unsafe content beside an AI reply or follow the reporting instructions. ExamATP is not an emergency service.
8. AI accuracy and your rights
AI can make mistakes. Answers, calculations, diagrams and references may be wrong or incomplete. Check important answers against reliable study sources and ask a teacher when unsure. Generated answers are not official marking memoranda. ExamATP is a study aid, and using it does not guarantee a particular mark, pass or other academic outcome.
Nothing in these terms limits your consumer or privacy rights, excuses us from the service standards required by law, or requires you to waive a claim against us. Your rights and our responsibilities are determined by applicable law, including, where applicable, South Africa's Consumer Protection Act, Electronic Communications and Transactions Act and POPIA, and the Australian Consumer Law. Refunds, service corrections and other remedies required by law, and the additional refunds promised in our refund policy, remain available. Using a service provider does not remove duties that the law places on us.
For Australian consumers, nothing in these terms or our policies excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified. Our AI accuracy notice does not remove those protections. See Australian consumer remedies in our refund policy.
Features may change and outages may occur. We will not use a change to remove an existing paid entitlement without an appropriate remedy. Tell us about a material service failure using the refund policy.
9. Changes and ending your account
We will tell you about material changes to these terms and request a new agreement where required. Changes do not remove rights attached to earlier purchases.
We may restrict an account to investigate fraud, protect users or address a breach of these terms. Where lawful and practicable, we will explain the reason and allow you to respond. Suspension is not an automatic forfeiture of any statutory refund right.
You can delete your account in Settings, under Account. Save anything you need first and contact us about pending payments or refunds. Deletion ends access; it does not itself request a refund or erase records we lawfully need to retain. See the privacy notice for details.
10. Questions and disputes
Contact support@examatp.com with your concern. South African law governs these terms, subject to mandatory laws applicable to your purchase. This choice of law does not remove Australian consumer rights or your access to courts and consumer authorities available by law. You may use any competent court, consumer authority, ombud or Information Regulator process available by law. You do not have to give up those rights or accept private arbitration to use ExamATP.
