Safety and reporting

ExamATP is an AI study assistant. It can make mistakes. It is not a person, therapist or emergency service.

How we approach safety

Our instructions require the AI to decline sexual exploitation, explicit sexual entertainment, hateful abuse and instructions for serious harm. These boundaries also apply to documents, code, visuals, notes and covered answers. Educational discussion of subjects such as biology, health and history remains allowed.

We instruct the AI to avoid romantic or exclusive relationships and to support connections with real people. When someone expresses possible self-harm, its instructions call for a compassionate response, no harmful methods, and encouragement to seek real-world help. Specific crisis contacts should only be supplied when verified for the relevant country.

These safeguards do not guarantee that every response is safe. Reports help us investigate failures and improve the service. We do not monitor emergencies or automatically contact emergency services. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services and a trusted person nearby.

Report a concern

Use the flag beside an AI reply or the button below. You can report without signing in. Describe the concern and include a chat or reply reference if you have one. Do not send illegal images or videos, passwords or card details.

The button prepares an email draft; it does not send it. Send the draft from your email app, or copy it into webmail and send it to support@examatp.com. Reports are handled as private support requests under our privacy notice. We review the concern and can request relevant context, investigate and take action. You can ask us to reconsider a response using the same address.

For people in Australia

The eSafety Commissioner is Australia’s online safety regulator. Australian residents can complain to eSafety about suspected non-compliance with online safety codes or standards. You can also read eSafety’s guidance on reporting illegal or harmful online content. eSafety decides which matters fall within its powers; a complaint does not guarantee a particular outcome.
